The camera detects motion and records it instantly using a secured wireless signal as described on their website. But what surprised us about this1080 HD resolution Deep Sentinel security camera is that everything within its image field was ultra-clear.

The 130° viewing angle provides you (and their guards) with a wider visual field than ordinary CCTV cameras. Additionally, it comes with 16 infrared sensors for supreme clarity even during the night, when it’s needed most.

There are two ways to speak to a customer service representative in Deep Sentinel, via phone or live chat. 

We tried the live chat, and as expected, the agent we spoke with was phenomenal! First of all, the response time was only around eight to nine seconds. That’s much faster than the average live chat response time of 2 minutes.

Plus, our Deep Sentinel company representative was courteous and professional. When we asked him a few technical questions about the installation, he provided us with such thorough answers that we didn’t even need an IT professional. Kudos for that!

Sadly, we didn’t find any reviews for Deep Sentinel products on well-known sites like Trustpilot and Better Business Bureau. But we did find some on Yelp and the company’s own website.

The customer reviews on Yelp were notably positive. They praised both the company’s site and the security system for its quality and ease of use. Many people also pointed out how incredibly helpful and professional the customer service representatives were. 

All in all, the Deep Sentinel rating from Yelp is four stars out of five for 27 reviews. We only saw a few negative reviews. These were mainly regarding the hub getting disconnected from the router or the camera getting disconnected from the hub.

Alternatives to Deep Sentinel

While the Deep Sentinel security system is incredible, not everyone may find it suitable for their needs. Some people may be looking for features or services that it doesn’t offer. So, for the sake of conducting an unbiased review, we checked out some of its top competitors.

Deep Sentinel Vs. Ring

Ring is an Amazon-owned product that became popular for its video doorbell cameras in 2013. Both Deep Sentinel and Ring are easy to install.

However, Ring’s edge over Deep Sentinel is that it’s designed for outdoor and indoor use. In contrast, Deep Sentinel is strictly for outside setup.

Although you can connect Ring cameras to Alexa, it doesn’t have a built-in AI as Deep Sentinel does. It also doesn’t have human guards monitoring your property 24/7.

Deep Sentinel Vs. SimpliSafe

Both Deep Sentinel and SimpliSafe are reputable security companies. But, SimpliSafe has more options for you to build your own system. At the same time, there’s only one Deep Sentinel home monitoring package you can create on your own. However, it does advertise that you can call them for more options.

SimpliSafe’s ready-made packages are a lot cheaper than Deep Sentinel’s, with $293 being the highest price. Then again, Deep Sentinel’s edge is its AI features and real-time live guards, which SimpliSafe does not offer.

Deep Sentinel Vs. ADT

Although these are both quality security companies, ADT offers a lot more products than Deep Sentinel. For example, besides security cameras, they can also provide smart locks, video doorbells, smoke detectors, indoor cameras, and more.

Indeed, Deep Sentinel products are currently limited. However, their live guards can monitor your property, communicate with intruders, and notify police faster if they see a problem. Plus, they offer stellar customer support!

The Deep Sentinel Security company offers a powerful system that’s hard to ignore. Notably, what sets it apart from the rest are its AI features and the human guards that monitor your property 24/7, 365 days a year.

It also has excellent customer support that not many of its competitors can equal. Of course, it has a few drawbacks. For instance, it doesn’t have indoor cameras or a wide variety of products.

But overall, we can safely say that we highly recommend the Deep Sentinel as its strengths supersede the weaknesses.
