The exact number of websites changes by the second, but over one billion websites exist. According to Netcraft’s Web Survey, there were 1,139,467,659 websites in July 2022 compared to 1,167,715,133 websites in January 2022.
Websites usually consist of one or more web pages. As of the 5th of September, the Indexed Web contains over 5.84 billion web pages.
